| WELCA is sponsoring a MaaSae young woman, for one year, at the MaaSae Girls Lutheran Secondary School in Monduli, Tanzania. She leaves her family( because they are unable to care for her) and receives her education, board and room at this school. After a student receives this education they are expected to help the development of their village and/or Tanzania . The headmistress is a Maasai woman who received part of her education at Wartburg College, Waverly, Iowa. To learn more about ANNA (age 15) please refer to the bulletin board in the church hallway. |
